Assess current data architecture, platforms, and data flows
Design target-state data architecture (e.g., cloud, hybrid, or on-prem)
Define data models, integration patterns, and governance frameworks
Recommend tools, technologies, and best practices
Conduct interviews with data owners/ data custodians in various departments, including Engineering, Public Safety, Data Analytics, Operations, and Technology teams
Provide implementation roadmap and technical documentation
Deliverables
Current-state and target-state AI-ready (BI/ ML) architecture diagrams
Data architecture standards and design principles
Technology and tooling recommendations
Implementation roadmap with milestones. Final architecture documentation and knowledge transfer
Project will commence approximately April 1, 2026, and it is anticipated that a final report will be issued on July 1, 2026
Resource Qualifications
Proven experience as a Technology/Data Architect with specific expertise in ETL
Expertise in modern data platforms (e.g., cloud, data lakes, data warehouses)
Experience with data governance, security, and compliance
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Relevant certifications or case studies (preferred).
