Specific Technical Requirements:

• Familiar with construction environments – Required.
• BICSI certification – Preferred.
• Travel: 1-2 trips a year (within the U.S)
• Focuses on fiber optics and copper cabling from IT room to wherever the end device maybe be to get the IT connection directly (not via wireless).  This includes cabling, walls and ceilings.
• Support vendors (not manage them) to get them access into IT rooms and scheduling any type of work throughout the plant and US region.
• Dealing with new construction or renovations.
• Making sure the business is getting everything they need, where they need it.
• Standards to follow and to be compliant with global IT and other audit points.
